BEFORE EVERY DAWN - Self-translated poems 8

Who is the woman singing
At the corner of the street?

A music doesn’t leave me
In peace, in peace

It crept upon the waters
the heart will understand
No longer than a smile bow
Undine goes

Men, my men
how I loved you and love
but I never told
It passed.
I forgot.
Before every dawn
My love, who knows?

Undine goes

Her heart is burning though
music, the music
if you wants, would take her home
Emerald were her eyes
and you never forgot

Love, my love, you know
For you my heart is beating
And I never told
It passed.
I forgot.
Before every dawn
My love, what’s going on?

Hold me
Hold me

Undine goes
