“I-I-I’m a metaphysical woman…”(Sara Bini)
For those who believe that good rock music ended in the 1990s, or at most in the early 2000s, here is a CD inspired by that sound, with a few concessions to modern tastes and 1970s dance music. It is a musical journey between rock and lyricism, steel and whipped cream, sword and caress. These lyrics and melodies combine the irreverent irony of the Rolling Stones, the bitter sweetness of Morrissey, the spirituality of my poetic world and my protest against a dehumanising and freedom-destroying system.
Special thanks and tribute go to my brother Francesco Bini, alias Madame Madness Composer, who, evidently gifted with paranormal powers, intercepted the best possible arrangements for my songs from the ether. Good blood doesn't lie, and the magic of the Bini siblings strikes again!
I would also like to draw attention to the CD booklet: a masterful work by Alessandro Cives, an excellent artist and songwriter, as well as a dear friend. His genius has been able to translate into images the secret code of my “metaphysical woman”: sensual and ethereal at the same time, exiled and misunderstood on this desolate earth, she sings of the poignant nostalgia of the Infinite.
