In pink and gold
this day’s just rolled
the rain has stopped
And I
Didn’t pass so bold
Didn’t pass  alright
Didn’t pass unhurt
through
   you

She smiles at the fire
the young foreigner
and she’ll go and sit out
at the table of stone

She’ll write just for fun
in the quiet farm
where the fire once wept
tears of wax

No fear left
she’s going to write that
the young foreigner
whose identity’s melt

Melt by the fire
into tears of wax
and then we are not
what we were
            or we thought

But why should I pretend
why should I ever pretend
As long as it lasts
            fiat voluntas tua
            fiat voluntas tua

 The snow smell doesn’t matter
any more.

This body doesn’t sound:
silent snow

It doesn’t vibrate
it doesn’t radiate
does not resonate
it doesn’t intone
This body doesn’t sing
anymore

Dumb
merciful snow.
Lamplight on the street:
perfumed road

It’s time
to stop the time
The air is full and cold

This body doesn’t sound
it doesn’t matter
anymore

RAPSODIA - Il romanzo del Silenzio




“A volte mi affaccio alla vita della gente e le racconto un segreto. E’ un vecchio trucco. Mi avvicino e, a meno che le persone non dormano ad occhi aperti, possono percepirmi come una lieve brezza, come l’acuto di una sola nota, lo scricchiolio di una vecchia sedia, un brivido o il lampo di un’intuizione” (La Leggenda del Bevitore Sacro - Mario Corradini).


Chi era lei per lui? E cosa rappresentava lui per lei? Rapsodia evoca il mistero del Nord e la magica alchimia delle affinità elettive, canta l’immateriale e lo insinua nel materiale, cambia tonalità al mito e lo fonde con la realtà. E’ una storia che si svolge negli intervalli, negli  spazi immaginari di uno scenario appena pennellato, costantemente in bilico tra fiaba e quotidianità, delicatezza e gravità. Rapsodia suggerisce piuttosto che descrivere, dà voce al silenzio più che alle parole, lasciando la libertà al lettore di cercare il proprio romanzo e trovare il proprio racconto.
