It sounds absurd, but the worst restrictions, prohibitions, closures and humiliations did not come to me from Mario Draghi in the greenstress era, but from people who said they loved me.

I found myself begging for things that seemed trivial, the ordinary routine of a relationship, but I came up against unassailable walls and corners that would not even smooth over the years.  I went beyond my wounds, my ghosts, my fears, to be denied even a fraction of what was granted to others.

The funny thing is that such relationships only seem, on the surface, to improve when one of the two stops asking and expressing his or her needs. Of course, the other no longer feels challenged and thinks he has found harmony, whereas it is sad resignation.

No matter, a closed heart, a rigid mind are already a punishment for those who possess them. There is so much mental illness in the world, precisely because there is so much inability to let go of love. All this teaches me a lot about humanity and its delirium, about pharmacies always running out of psychotropic drugs, about how our well-beloved rulers are nothing more than the projection and gigantography of our daily little cruelties. 

A wish to all for the New Year, may it be full of inner openings and miracles, through which light can make room and radiate from us to the whole world.
