Let us first clarify what they are NOT: they are certainly not poetry or creative writing workshops, nor are they purely academic courses designed to teach or refresh knowledge of metre and literature.
La Via della Poesia hopes to spark a movement – a movement of poetic life within the participant’s soul. Through a series of insights, but above all through quotations, readings, exercises and reflections, these seminars seek to kindle a small flame that brings light, intensity and passion to the inner and outer worlds of those taking part.
It is a journey to awaken and encounter our Inner Poet: that perspective which animates our lives and makes them full, intense and beautiful.
La Via della Poesia is therefore aimed at a specific category of individuals: those within whom some form of questioning, restlessness or quest stirs. Somewhere in their minds and hearts, they feel that there must be ‘something more’ beyond work, family, daily chores and the nightmare of the news. They’ve had enough of the greyness and are answering the call of colour: they want to break through their routine and escape the trap of an automatic existence made up of dreary administrative tasks, bureaucratic obligations, duties and social pretences.
